IS it news or horror stories

I keep reading about the parents who are abusing their kids, or other children.And i cant seem to understand what compelles them to do so.I have to hunt the web for these stories since most of the time they dont make it unto our news.Why is this? I know it's sad but I think there should be more awareness about these things.Put as much information out there as possible.There is a registration site for sex offenders,why isnt there one for child abusers?Lots of times the adults who do these crimes use drug abuse or addiction as their defense ,which I feel is completly hieness.There are so many resources out there to help and assist us these days, we just have to look for them.I can understand how raising a child can be hard,but sometimes the abuse is by the parent ,it's the boyfriend or babysitter.This is sick.I wonder when someone is going to take responsibilty for the choices they make.

Another day

So here I am sitting in front of this computer ,as soon as I woke up this morning.No work today, nothing to do.I still have my cup of coffee here ,keeping me company,trying to get me started for the day.I have spent the last few days on parentsbehavingbadly.com and it's so sad the stories on there.I always watch the news .but I dont remember any of those stories airing on television.I dont understand why these things havent gotten more publicity.
